self-conception

Haus Mainusch is supposed to be more than a cool party location.

It is about creating freedom from normative constraints. That is why the everyday pressure to make a profit and be usable in the capitalist sense should not prevail here. It should be a space in which everyone can contribute according to their abilities and wishes. This of course requires constant communication and new negotiation of conflicts between people – but not against each other (according to the usual principle: * the strongest wins), but constructively with each other.

It is also a constant attempt to create a space free from racism, anti-Semitism, sexism, lookism, homophobia – a space free from any form of oppression, exclusion, hierarchization and exploitation. It should be about the individual people, their skills and their creativity. In addition, there is respectful treatment of all non-human animals.

Opportunities should be offered to oppose prevailing, often hurtful or people’s constrictions of normativity and to be able to develop alternatives in exchange with other people.

Haus Mainusch (visitors and active people) reserve the right to exercise their house rights and deny or exclude access to the house to people who belong to right-wing parties, organizations or to the right-wing scene or to appear through racist, sexist, nationalist, homophobic, anti-Semitic or other inhuman statements.
